Dementia

At Honeycomb Care we appreciate how worrying and stressful it can be to cope with the reality that a loved one is living with the early or advanced stages of dementia and are displaying signs of struggling to live safely and independently in their home.
It is often a difficult decision for families to take when balancing the desire to care for their loved one themselves, versus need for professional and specialist care. At Honeycomb care we can help support you in this decision making progress and best advise you of the individual needs and care plan required.

Our care team are experienced and qualified in Dementia care for both early and advanced stages. Our aim is to support the client to stay safely in their home surrounded by family and friends with as much independence as possible so that the familiar surroundings provide comfort and reassurance. Part of this process involves assessment of the clients presentation, health and needs which will assist us to build a care plan and risk assessments that are centred around the individual.

Our team of carers provide one to one care independently assessed as ‘Outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission.

Our service offers you professional care in physical and emotional support, managing and administering medications, domestic support, supporting safety and mobility in the home, planning and preparing meals and providing companionship. We do this by ensuring our staff are well trained and kept up to date with information from Dementia UK.
