Why Our CQC Rating Matters

Through the hard work and dedication of our experienced and committed care team, we are proud to have been awarded an overall 'Good' rating by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), with an outstanding rating in the caring domain.
Maintaining a good or outstanding rating from the CQC is an important part of providing quality home care services. 

The CQC is the independent regulator of health and social care in England. It inspects and regulates services to make sure they meet fundamental standards of quality and safety. All care companies must be registered with the CQC and they conduct regular inspections to assess the quality of care they provide.

The CQC inspects care homes and home care services to ensure they are meeting the fundamental standards of care. During the inspection, the CQC will assess the quality of care provided and take into account feedback from the people using the service and their families. The inspection focuses on the Key Lines of Enquiry (KLOE’s) supporting care providers to evidence how these are met.

The CQC will then assign a rating to the service which is based on the findings of their inspection. The rating is either good, requires improvement, or outstanding. The rating is important to clients, their families, and the care provider because it provides an insight into the quality of the care being provided.

We also ensure that our care plans are tailored to meet our clients’ individual needs and that our staff are responsive to their needs.

We also place a lot of focus on leadership and management. We have a dedicated team of managers who work hard to ensure that our services are of the highest standard. They are committed to making sure that our clients are receiving the care they need and that our staff are provided with the support they need.
